    Quote:
The Warriors are still in the market for a big man and a point guard. Even with Maggette, the still don't have the inside presence they need or a player who can consistently create for others as did point guard Baron Davis during his three-plus years in Oakland.

According to sources inside the NBA circle, the Warriors have offered the Los Angeles Lakers' restricted free agent forward Ronny Turiaf a contract (believed to be paying about $4 million a year) and have shown interest in free-agent combo guard Keyon Dooling.

There is no way he is worth that much but if he is offered it it will be hard for him to say no.

Well if we can't get Ronny then we still have to resign Sasha and bring in Posey to replace the hustle and toughness that Ronny brought, plus a 3pt shot.

    Turiaf agrees with Warriors

FREE AGENT: The Lakers have seven days to match the 4-year, $17 million contract offer.

Lakers forward-center Ronny Turiaf agreed to a four-year, $17 million offer from the Golden State Warriors, according to two league sources.

Turiaf is a restricted free agent. The Lakers have seven days to match the Warriors' offer.

Turiaf's agent, Mark Bartelstein would neither confirm nor deny the offer from the Warriors.

Wow...that is way to much for Turaif...he will take that and run if its true. It will be sad to see him go but hopefully Mihm can get healthy and fill in as a backup C.

Now the question is, will the Lakers match that offer? I honestly don't think they will...they're going to focus on resigning Vujacic and now I guess they can offer Posey the MLE and hopefully he accepts.

Thats too bad, i like ronny. But if he thinks he is worth 4 mil a year, i would part ways with him. Hes got potential, but not 4 million a year's worth. Not yet anyways.

No way the lakers are gonna match that. 4 million a year?? For Ronny??? He isn't worth that much, and I'm sure the Warriors' fans are feeling the same way. Let him walk, Mitch. Don't even bother. If that was Sasha, of course u have to match, but for Ronny?? No way. Resign Sasha, then get another utility player, a guy like Posey or Kurt Thomas. What the hell are the Warriors thinking?

I have a question...if a restricted FA team matches an offer from another team, does that FA have to go back to his team or can he still join the new team??
