| I think that the lakers should really make a move to try to acquire Tayshaun from the pistons. Not only is he a great defender but he can hit open jumpers and rebound the ball as good as any small forward in the league not named lamar odom. If the lakers can trade lamar for tayshaun and fillers we would truly be unstoppable. I honestly would rather have tayshaun as a fourth optiion then lamar any day because not only can he consistently score but he would bring the lakers a defensive toughness that they so desperately need. What do you guys think? |

| I still feel like we can get more than just Tayshaun for Lamar. If we were making that deal, I'd ask for Maxiell as well. |

Give them Odom and Vlad. While you're at it, give him fan favorite Walton. Hell, we'll even throw in Karl. A few draft choices, anything, but don't give up too much. Don't give up Farmar or Sasha or anything silly like that. If we can't get Prince with the above deal, then let's keep who we have.
I do like the idea of Prince though. He would be better than my idea of Deng. Tayshaun will be the defensive presence we need. Like it was stated above, he can shoot. Dumars is no fool, so we have to be on our toes and don't give up the farm. Or Farmar. |

been pitching this idea around for awhile.

BAM.
of course, the pistons would be trading away two starters. however, maybe they've got enough faith in maxiell to try starting him instead of mcdyess. |

I hope that's not because he helped to beat the lakers in 2004. The NBA is a business, man, it's about getting the best players that you can. I don't care if Pierce, or Ray, or KG helped beat the lakers, if Ainge was shopping any one of them, I would welcome them with open arms. So you're basically saying if a player was offered to the lakers, and he was much better than Odom, you wouldn't want him because he had a part in beating the team you love so much? Not to mention, rivalries between teams today don't even exist, really. They overhyped the Lakers/Celtics final. Bottom line, the teams and fans just don't hate each other like they did 20 years ago. |

The salaries match but the talent doesn't Dumars would definitely want someone else. Most like by the name Sasha Vujacic |

| Adding Tayshaun Prince can definitely help two of our glaring deficiencies, perimeter shooting and perimeter defense. He is a good two way forward which can definitely help our team. |

| He can play the D we really need and he is, like other people have said here, clutch. He as well has great playoff experience. a leading candidate to pursuit in my opinion. |

| Not sure about Prince for Lamar. But, I would trade Turiaf for AK47. AK47 is a very good defender, if defense is what you are looking for. And the Jazz are interested on Turiaf. |

| I'd trade for Prince. He's small at guard but hits enough high notes to distract the defense. Purple rain baby. |

Same here. I've also been praising this idea for quite some time amidst all the talk of getting Artest (insane, chemistry destroyer) or G. Wallace (a high-risk, injury-prone gamble).
Good trade overall Mamba. Salaries match and all that. But I'd throw in Vlad or Luke into the mix to stir the pot; sweeten the deal a bit. But I really like what we get out of this though. We get Prince, who answers our prayers for what we want in a starting SF (defense, perimeter shooting) and more (athletic, long, experienced) We get Dice, who'll beef up our bench mob by adding a solid productive veteran.

Acutally Prince would a BIG guard at 6'9". But he'll most likely stay at SF. |

Really? I actually think Odom is a better overall player than Prince, but I think Prince is way more of what the Lakers need at this point in time than Odom.
Plus, I find Tayshuan Prince adorable, so |
