| Too soon to tell. That should be an option for your poll. |

| Bynum is younger and he's our future. Gasol isn't a true C that Bynum is. You can't find a lot of Bynum's in this league. I can't think of other dominant centers except D12.. |

I think there must be a battle going on between this poster and the guy who started the one about "Who you trade Kobe for?".
It's a battle to see who's more bored. |

Ridiculous question.....
You always keep young athletic bigs, good point guards, stopper defenders, and guys with "go to" half court moves.
You trade away "tweeners", role players, and guys who can't defend. |

| Someone with 6 total posts shouldn't use the word "ridiculous" about a respected member with over 1,000 posts. X4TI, you're opinion will always be welcome here, but there are some pretty reputable members here, and GMoney is one of them. |

I think this is a good question - because the Dr. Buss money train does end somewhere. We are already over the cap and luxury tax. Ticket prices are going up again. So I think this a legit concern.
If it came to it I would take Pau Gasol. After joining our team we won 84% of our games without the aid of Andrew (who I love and want to keep as a Lakers for 15 years). But Pau has been an all star - he is still young at the age of 27 - he is in his prime. He is a proven 18 point 10 rebound guy for the last 5 or so years in the league. His passing is incredible and his defense actually isn't as bad as many think. He gave Duncan and Boozer and even Garnett a tough time in the playoffs.
We rolled - absolutely rolled through the toughest Western conference playoffs in recent memory. Until of course we got to Boston. Boston's "D" was just to tough this year for us.
Andrew I think will be a 18 pt. 13 rebound center, but we still have to see if he can play at that level, without injury etc. Pau is proven. I take the proven guy. |

Here is another poll, every bit as compelling.
What is more boring?
A. Ennui
B. Insouissance
C. Pro Basketball Offseason Polls
What I am really burning to discover is - turnips or radishes... |

People are apparently bored and now they're pulling anything out their @$$ just to post.
Next thing you know someone will post something ridiculous like would Kobe be just as good if he was left handed. |

| is it good to compare two players with different positions? do you think its fair especially they are both in the same organization? if you'll ask me who i want, i want both of them to be a laker forever and thats it. this is a non sense topic. maybe we should just talk about the future of the team and how we can be champions for a longer time. |

| X4T1: You just brought up something that's been on my mind for a little bit, tweeners. Tweensr to me should come off the bench or something and we have two of them, we have Vlad and we have Lamar, even though Lamar is a multi-faceted, he is still a tweener and sometimes tweeners can hurt the team more than they can help. |

LOL
But... that's actually an interesting question. I think he would be even better. Left-handed players always give teams fits (look at Manu), so that's just another thing that teams would have to worry about with Kobe. |
