What is a dynasty though? Who said it has to be 4 or more championships? It could be 2 or 3 too.. lol.
From the examples:
* Minneapolis Lakers of the 1950s (5 championships between 1949 and 1954)
* Los Angeles Lakers of 1979 to 1991 (5 NBA championships, 10 Division titles, 9 conference championships, 12 winning seasons)
* Los Angeles Lakers of the 2000s (3 championships in a row ('00, '01, and '02), including the best postseason record in NBA history (15-1))
This current Laker team will be a dynasty. With the core of Pau, Kobe and Bynum, it will win 3-4. Bynum and whoever comes along will win quite a few more though...
It maybe a lot more than we think. Say we win next year... It's hard to repeat. We can win 3 in a row if the guys want it that badly. |
