I say we forget about Ron Ron, let hims stay where he is, he did not opt out, lets not was Odom for him. And get real, they are not taking anyone but Odom.
But if we are too move Lamar i think we should send him out to Atlanta for Josh Smith, wow would that be awsome. |

| josh smith for odom? hell no. odom is heck of a rebounder to give up. josh smith cant shoot 3s either. he's smaller than odom and odom is taller plus lamar has a 7'0 wingspan coz of his long arms. he can pass better too. odom>josh smith. i say we just leave the team the way it is. a couple of minor deals to backup the starters would do. |

However unrealistic it may seem that we get Josh Smith for Odom, you really don't give a good comparison as to why you would favor Lamar over Josh Smith. First point I agree, Lamar is a heck of a rebounder, albeit inconsistent, but then you go on to say Josh smith can't shoot 3's either. Well, neither can Lamar. Then you go on how Lamar is taller and has a 7'0 wingspan. Well Shawn Bradley is even taller and has an even broader wing span, does that make him better? While I agree Lamar is a decent passer, again he is inconsistent, much like his overall game. The 2 things i believe Josh Smith has over Lamar is his athletiscism and DEFENCE. Lamar plays decent defence, but Smith plays good defence. If it were my money and my decision, I would take smith over Lamar any day, but I think right now Smith is probably untouchable. |

| Smith is a restricted free agent so if he does decide to accept another contract with atlanta or anywhere else a trade could be discussed but thats the only way |
