| I mean I'm not trying to rush the season to get back (....well actually I am, lol), but I guess I'm just so anxious to see LA play again and how the whole line up is gonna look. I think I have 2007-2008 Lakers withdrawal syndrome, lol. I haven't felt this way about watching LA since 2004. Even though we lost the finals, It feels like a re-emergence of a franchise is about to begin for LA. I can feel it, lol. I can't wait! |

| I agree. But i can't wait for draft night to see what trades are gonna happen. I would be most excited about seeing radman go if someone will pick up his contract. |

I am a 2 sport fanatic so baseball gets me through until NBA preseason starts up. I can watch a football game but lack passion for that sport. I will just enjoy the dog days of summer, my wife will enjoy getting me away from the tv for awhile. The NBA playoffs were too much for her because I was watching other series in addition to the Laker games (scouting for Lakers ) The October winds will be here before you know it and it should be a great season for us right from the start. No early distractions to overcome like last year. The current odds for the Lakers to win the title next year are 7/2 so next time in Vegas, I will lay some money down for that. Nice investment that will mature next June. |

| Can't wait to see the stunning look on coaches faces when they see Drew and Pau rollem over. Too bad D'antoni ran out of Phoenix. I'd love to wipe that smirk off his face. Well at least we can irritate Popovich, who CANNOT veto our dominance. |

I can't wait until the Lakers play any regular season game and win - just so that I don't have to think about our last game!
Watch out for the Spurs - if they can sign Artest, then they are our main rivals next year for sure. |

In hindsight, I think the Lakers did very well this post season. They won three series in the WC playoffs - only one of which I expected them to win, more or less, handily.
But something has been nagging at me for the last several days. Oh yea. Most of us didn't think they could beat the Celtics without Bynun at the beginning of the post season. Then they swept Denver, a talented, if defensively disorganized team. Then Utah, a somewhat more talented, focused team but with much more gracious road manners. Then came the smart but a bit “long in the tooth” Spurs. Our confidence soared.
Now that I’ve sobered up some, I’m exhilarated by the Lakers prospects with Bynum, and Gasol. We’ll be treated to great basketball next season. |
