This is for people to put their trade ideas that will make the lakers better lets try not to put ideas that are not realistic. Here is my trade ideas. It would be for Richard Jefferson. Richard is a true three who is not afraid to take it in the whole. He also has a much better jump shot than people think he does. He is much more confident in his ability to play the game of basketball and because of that he is much more consistent. His best friend is on the lakers, Luke Walton, and he is a great defender so Kobe does not have to do all the work gaurding their best permiter(spelled wrong lol) player. Here is some of my ideas and they can all work.
1.Lamar Odom
for
Richard Jefferson and Marcus Williams
2. Lamar Odom
for
Richard Jefferson and 21th pick of 2008 draft
3. Lamar Odom and Vlamdir Radmonvic
for
Richard Jefferson and Stromile Swift
I want to hear your ideas |

| I would love to see the Lakers get Marcus Williams....he they type of big PG the Lakers really need. If we include another player maybe we can get Jefferson, Williams and the 21st.....that would be a coup!!!! and make the Lakers great for years! |

| I have suggested that the Lakers should strike a deal with the Heat. I would like to see the Lakers offer Lamar, Farmar and Luke for Marion and their first round pick if they get Derrick Rose. It may not be realistic but who knows. I think our PG position got exposed throughout these playoffs and Rose is a dynamic player that has been well schooled in defensive play. |

Yeah, but would Phil play him? Not to mention, Marion has too big of a head. And with Kobe's head, there's no room for the second tiered Marion. |

| Phil would play him. Phil doesn't play rookies because the ones he's had experience with haven't been able to play defense. Farmar was the starter at the end of the '06-'07 season. Part of that was because smush is garbage, but also because he was able to track and cover his man. He also hasn't played many of them because he's never had a high draft pick. Marcus Williams is probably more realistic though. And he fits the triangle well. He has a big strong body, can shoot the ball well, and is a team player. He is actually exactly like fisher. |

| Something is going on in Miami. They don't seem all that interested in Rose as he has not even gone down there for a workout whereas Beasley has worked out for both the Bulls and Heat. It seems like if the Bulls pick Beasley then Miami might be willing to deal. |

Nothing better than a SF who isn't afraid to take it to the "whole".
Can anyone tell me about Jefferson's defensive abilities? |

| MIA IS IN LOVE WITH ROSE!!! If he gets picked by the Bulls, they will most likely trade down a pick or two and draft Mayo. |

Pau Gasol for Lamarcus Aldridge- Aldridge is a young more athletic player who I think would of matched up better against Garnett. Plus he's young so the lakers would have more players for the future. I think we should keep lamar and bring him off the bench if he doesn't work at SF.

i think it's best if we keep gasol, yeah gasol was outmatched most of the time against KG, but who wouldn't be? the guy is nuts! |

| lol, do people forget that Gasol was the reason why the lakers got the #1 seed in the Western Conference? lmfao at all this trade talk about getting rid of Gasol. Where would the lakers have been this year if it weren't for Gasol? Probably the 7th or 8th seed, where they would get eliminated in the opening round again. The bynum-gasol frontline is gonna be sick. Not really sure how odom will fit into the mix, though. |

| i agree, no way we should trade gasol. i am positive that a frontcourt of gasol and bynum will flourish into the best front court in the league. odom on the other hand..... |

I still have some doubts about Gasol---I thought he was over-rated before the trade; he played well after the trade; he folded for much of the playoffs---but I'm not a fan of very many Euro players. Trading him for Aldridge would be interesting, but I think Gasol will complement Bynum better than Aldridge if he can regain confidence in his shot. Besides, the Lakers have more pressing concerns. Maybe they can trade Vlad and Luke to Miami for Haslem and a dozen basketballs . . .
okay, you're right: Vlad for a dozen autographed D.Wade basketballs and Charles Barkley's telephone number.
Frankly, I don't see us getting much for what we are willing to part with, so I think the best course would be to get rid of the dead wood and look to the free agent market to reload. |
