I'm sorry fellas, but I'm seeing a bunch of posts addressing Boston's so-called lack of class.
I'm sorry but if your mad that Ray Allen shot made a 3 pointer with SIX MINUTES left in the game then that's a complete joke! What else was he suppose to do when we keep giving him wide open threes?? Run out the clock?! But we all forget how Sasha made a 3 at the BUZZER in the Spurs elimination game huh, and was all calling Michael Finley a punk for reacting..but I guess thats different right?
And about Doc Rivers putting in his starters..let's remember in game 2 Boston had a 20 point lead with 6:55 left in the 4th and we cut the lead to 2 with 38 seconds left until fishers bonehead foul. So the guy was doing what any SMART coach would do and thats close out the game!
It's time we stop being sour and focus our attention on how to improve this team and stop worrying about how they should celebrate their title.
It's theirs, they deserve it, let those bastards have it! |

If you wanna be mad at something, be mad at the fact that Kobe thought that a turnover prone 3 point barrage was going to beat this team. Let's get mad at the fact that Odom in only 8 fg attempts shot 16 freethrows, and Kobe in 22 fg attempts shot only 5. You tell me who was the agressor.
Theirs plenty we can be mad at...Boston's celebration aint one of them! |

| Well said LKnight we as LTBers are starting to look bad as a whole. That was a hard lesson for our team last night they got taken to school, lets hope we are fast learners. We have youth and now NBA finals experience(no matter how embarassing) so I feel good about our bynumite future, plus who would have thought we would have been here at the beginning of the season. Everyone thought this was Boston's year. I look forward to our team to play a full season together, I really like our chances. LAKERS FOR LIFE |

| It is not really a question of this particular game, at least not for me. This is a question that runs deep back into history. Certainly, I can understand that many have not lived through all of the strange shenanigans that have historically accompanied this particular rivalry, and I can therefore understand the tendency of many, that have really no recent memory of this rivalry, to tend to judge things based only on this series. However, regardless of this viewpoint, there is certainly a generational division in the manner in which older fans will always view that team based in Boston! This is only the latest chapter in a running discourse. The Massachussetts team is not the only team to possess pride. So, respectfully, in this case, we must agree to disagree in our personal interpretations of the essential historical nature of the Boston organization. |
