Awesome job Kobe Bryant, you shot 7-22. What a magnificent display of your basketball prowess
So now you want to rub it in and show that you are classless too? We accept defeat. Boston knew it and still piled on the points. Not exactly showing true features of a champion are they?
But, I do congratulate Kevin Garnett on his first Finals win and I do congratulate Paul Pierce for sticking it out. Putting aside the hate I have for the Celtics, they both did a fantastic job. Ray Allen as well. The Big Three came through and I do feel glad they finally won championships. It just hurts bad when it's against your home team.
I can't say the Lakers gave it their all, but I thank them for allowing us to watch Lakers basketball till June. They did a hell of a job this year. Now, we just have to wait for Andrew Bynum's return. We really need him back and it is evident. |

this team ended the season showing no heart or resolve. it's very hard for me to see this team walking away from this night saying they left it all on the floor. i can't see how these guys can hold their heads up high. i can't see how they can even have pride after this game.
Agreed. If they wanna say they left it all out on the court they are lying to themselves. |

HEY F-U MAN! How dare you come in here and make a post like that! The Celtics were up by 35 in the fourth quarter and showed absolutely sportsmanship whatsoever. Typical f-ing Celtic fan. Wait till next year jerky. You ain't so bad!! |

no doubt the better team won - but i am bothered by the lack of class showed...you'd think with the amount of losing those guys had done they would be a little more aware of not running up the score.
but regardless of that, our guys were nowhere to be found today. from kobe down to the last guy on the bench - they were all awful.
hopefully we understand what toughness is about...if this is going to become an annual date like in the 80's we can't be afraid of the contact. we were SO SOFT...poor rebounding, not stepping in to take away penetration, leaving shooters WIDE open...their big players understood how to use their bodies...ours have no clue.
beyond that...i am not going to be one of those guys who throws phil under the bus and says we should fire him, but i really think he needs to get a more defensive minded assistant...like defensive coordinator because it seemed pretty obvious that we lack focus in that respect |

| kobe played like garbage the whole series. i cant believe that they went out like that. the whole series the celtics played like they really wanted it, and the lakers played llike they were happy to be there. im so frustrated right now. but i know the young lakers will learn from this and they will be back. the celtics will just get olderr and this will be the last year they win it all. with the big three. |

| OK! We as Laker fans are disappointed with the loss tonight BUT at the sametime we should be proud of our Lakers that they went as far as they went. I guess we can look at it that the Lakers were the second best in the whole nba and they should be favorites for next season since they are still a very young team and hopefully with Bynum back we should be heavy favorites. |

I agree with Lakers21 that the Lakers do need a better defensive asst coach. The Lakers have been terrible on defense and should make the adjustments for next season on getting defensive minded players and asst coaches. The Lakers will make some adjustments for next season and some trades, pickup some players that can bang bodies and maybe we can make another run next season and win the championship then.
I felt that the Lakers tonight played the worst game of the season on defense and offense. And I felt that they threw in the towel by half time and just coasted the rest of the way. I couldn't figure why Phil kept Sasha and Ariza out so much since his starting group was not getting it done.
Oh Well! It is over now and the Celtics were the better team tonight. |

| I think the worst part right now is that all my friends hate the Lakers. All of them. So obviously they all jumped on the Celtic bandwagon, I've been getting texts, phone calls about the Celtics killing the Lakers and all that. My good buddy even showed up on my doorstep saying, "So how bout them Lakers?" I just slammed the door in his face. Effin' bandwagon jumping jerks. I'm so pissed. I haven't said one word aloud since like 6 minutes left in the game. So damn disappointed in the Lakers... |

| How come the moderator has not kick out 1001001. All this jerk does is post BS and tries to get Laker fans irritated. He should have been kick out already. I think I know who this guy is from another forum and he is really not a Celtic fan, but a Maverick fan and he hates the Lakers. |
