Been a long time posting longies. Its work among other things catching up with the guy. In the most epic of battles up ahead, here's what your friendly neighborhood trademeister thinks.

    Game 1

Check the 1st quarter box scores. It will tell you how the game would be played for another 12 minutes or more. The Celtics fans will give their team a standing ovation everytime Rondo makes a layup, Perkins draws a charge and or Jesus Shuttleworth hits a long one. Everytime Paul Pierce beats his chest or everytime KG howls to the moon, the new Boston Garden will simply explode.

For all this stunts and the pyrotechnics before that, the Lakers will run against this old Celtic squad like what we did with San Antonio. The Lakers will have to fight off the crowd and play relaxed, play with poise and play with a purpose. Having Snakes and Fishes gives you that. Expect transition baskets, transition threes and more emphasis on reabounding.

Then the 6th, 7th and 8th man enters - and suddenly the Celtics will find out that their slim lead from the 1st quarter narrows even more. That sophomore PG will be our jolt of energy as is the guy that broke his foot. The son-of-the hall-of-famer will get his burn too, but he's too quick against the chest-pounding, headband-wearing guy in green. The braided Frenchman shall be up against a young foe (Powe) who has about the same reaction from the fans as the Braided one has from Home. I hope to see the judo-blackbelt on this one just to "enforce" some things before the half ends. Check the box, we are tied.

At the half, the Doc who isn't a Doc will preach "unity" with his team. He will preach about "momentum" among other things and how important this game 1 is for their spirit.

At the other end, the Master "feels" everyone out with purple dust. He will take the son-of-the-hall-of-famer into the nook of the locker room and talk about him about life and legacy. You all know we're 41-0 in serieses after game 1 victories right? "Right" said the curly boy.

The 3rd quarter will be another drumbeat. The leprechauns will try to hold the ball for as long as possible, trying to limit the possessions. Its what the "Doc"-tor ordered and Rondo will have to "hog" the ball in order for this to happen. You shall see a quick "passover" but 3 entry passes into the pinch post. On average, these Irish Biatches will shoot only if the clock reads 8 or less. I hope they hire Mike D'Antoni to coach these punks.

Well, if you read 15-14 in your boxes don't rub your eyes too much. This is what those Black Texans usually do when they struggle to score points. Look what we did to them... their "Dunk"an guy scored and rebounded like a monster, but the Argentine Valentine stunk. Of course the Little Frech Guy got his share, but he didn't want to ruin his wife's career didn't he? Thanks for coopertating LFG.

The 4th quarter will be more of a push and shove game. The Big Perk will muscle his way down every defensive play trying to push away that weenie Spaniard. You will see a decision on someone "graduating" in the middle of June on this time and it would almost be the Big Perky Ape.

Then there's our running back blowing a layup, rebounding his own miss, blowing it again, getting it again and getting blocked by the "howling wolf" errr leprechaun. He thinks of "tackling" Jesus shuttleworth once more but he thinks better. He just might have to shoot that mid range J after all. It will be dared of him.

Then there's that black poisonous snake in the African woods inflicting his venom on the leprechauns' neck. Give me a floater, a fadeaway triple-teamed pass to our Fisherman who gets it from the Martian touch pass, and of course a trip to buffet table where he will shoot 9/9.

In the end, one banner will hold up and its the one that shines like the Sun and glooms like the Storm.

In the end, it will be one silent Leprechaun country.

Good post Warren! The closer things get, the more confidence I have in the Lakers. Boston resembles San Antonio to me in ways and we just beat San Antonio, Boston goes through it's scoreless stretches also. The way I look at it is that KG presents a different challenge than TD, but the challenge is somewhat similiar except that KG is more of a jumpshooter as opposed to TD who looks to back you down. Paul Pierce is sort of a healthy Ginobli and he's the one person I'm truly worried about in this series. Ray Allen is someone that we can put a Sasha on and give him a little bit of an annoyance, just don't leave him open. Rondo is no Parker. I think as long as we keep Perkins from hurting us on the boards, we should be able to take these guys, especially if we can force them to shoot jumpers and push the ball. Pushing the ball is key, especially if Lamar boards and pushes, that means you have big men trying to guard him in the open court, which favors us. Transition is the key to us winning the title, who ever gets the most layups and dunks wins most likely.

I peek at no man's balls.... Crystal or not.

All jokes aside, that's where the series will be won- in the trenches. The Bench Mob will need to be the difference, they'll win the game for us.

Lol, number 2 had me laughing, especially when I was thinking of different tea bags being used as a compress for swollen puffy eyes......lol.

Although there are many applications for the teabag; I can only think of one for the "mushroom stamp"

Your crystal balls see a lot. Does it make it difficult to walk?
