If you don't believe him, then go back and look at his post history and see that he has been right on the money in his predictions-the Ariza trade before it happened, Bynum's injury, and Gasol's timetable for return when he injured his ankle. |

| Its great news! Ariza will be a good addition for defensive purposes. I just dont know how soon will he be able to see action. With the Bench Mob (except for Sasha) struggling as well as VladRad, we need all the help we could get from Ariza. |

oh yay. but i don't know if we'll see him anytime soon; do we have the luxury of playing a player who's missed so many games and isn't exactly up to speed?
maybe as a desperation move in a possible game 7? but i sure hope we never get into that kind of desperate situation... |

| So when Bynum is brought up, everyone doubts if he's going to be as good as he was pre-injury. But any news on Ariza and we're thinking "Perimeter defender! We'll be way better now!". How are we supposed to know how good he feels on it and if he's still in shape, if he still has his speed, etc. |

| Who minutes are going to get cut? Farmar's been playing the worst of any of the bench players, but Ariza can't run the point. |

I don't think Ariza would be in shape to guard Williams? Williams would run circles around Ariza. If anybody besides Fisher to guard Williams, I would say it would have to be Sasha. Sasha is about four inches taller then Williams and has been a pain in the butt for most players he is guarding. That is why they are always knocking him down or try to choke him. He can be a pest.
Ariza when healthy was more for guarding small forwards and shooting guards, not short speedy point guards. JMHO! |

They put Bowen on Nash and CP, I don't see why Ariza can't guard D. Williams for stretches of the game. Farmar isn't doing anything with him. |

And also, PJ had him guarding A.I. in the game he dropped 52 on us. And ariza held him to one basket in the entire 4th quarter.

Bowen is healthy right now and in shape, Ariza has not played in quite a while. I don't know if he has played any games since his return in practice in full contact. He could be still favoring the foot.
I hope that I am wrong. I hope that he can pickup where he left. That would give the Lakers another option.
Being off that long takes awhile to get back in shape. |

| first of all, ariza isnt going to be playing any big minutes, nor is he going to guard an all star caliber pg like deron any time soon. second, i'm a little worried that his third doctor said that he is ready to go. what about his first two doctors opinions? i would hate to see him come back and do further damage to that broken bone. with that said, it would be great to see him back in action if indeed his broken bone is fully healed. hopefully can get into basketball shape and give us quality minutes in the finals if we make it that far. |

His second doctor actually cleared him as well but they just wanted to make sure |

| Wow, this is really good news. Ariza could definitely help guard some of the perimeter threats that we will face, maybe even D-Will. It depends in what kind of condition he is in, but either way, Farmar is struggling and we definitely need some kind change. Maybe, we can have Sasha guard D-Will or like I said we could possibly try Ariza on him. |

hopefully that is the case an he is ready to go. as long as he can get into bball shape in a hurry, he can help us defensively. not to mention, having him take away minutes from luke would be a good thing. watching luke play has been making my eyes hurt lately. vlad hasnt been doing any better as well. |

No but sasha can come in for fisher and Ariza can come in for Kobe. And if need be Odom can bring the ball up the floor |

| So what if Ariza hasn't played in a while?? All we need is his D. It's not like we're setting him up for plays. If he was able to guard Iverson, I'm pretty sure he can guard D-Will. Iverson is much quicker than D-Will. D Will is stronger, but that doesn't matter if Ariza is guarding him. I'd much rather have Trevor guard Williams than Farmar. Words can't explain how painful it is watching farmar get taken to school play after play. |
