All I have to say is thank goodness the Nuggets just squeezed into the playoffs. Better to get exposed this year, then with the same team next year.

seeing them lose like this... 0-3 ... losing every game by 10+ ... is like being cheated by your girlfriend

There is a game left. Nothing to play for really might as well end your run while we are at it. Kinda sorta like the cheap foot Kobe slid under Melo earlier in the year. It wouldn't bother me to see that payback happen.

Bring JR in and ride him and his fantasy land shots.

i hope they get swept.......... i dont even want them to win 1 game
Id rather they all stay in denver and lose in front of a crowd that should be booing them

fans should be booing this gutless team-
Why would all those Laker fans be booing the Nuggets? They should be cheering them.

The Nuggets are so funny. Down by 18 so they start shoving people around like they are badasses

remember guys, it is written in the Nuggets handbook that they can only play decent bball for a few minutes a game lol

the whole team is smiling - stupid

Lol. Some fans these guys are. Even when we lose games, we aren't that bad.
If the Nuggets don't even have their fans suporting them then you know it's over. |

Here are some more:
These are before the game:
Quote:
my prediction for the next two games are wins by the nuggets. i believe we'll win all of our home games because we seem to play much better at home.
And now the good ones :
Quote:
Move the ball you retards, jesus.
Quote:
The defense looks like crap so far. They are going anywhere they want with the ball.
Quote:
GK with the timeout. He must have finally realized the 1 on 5 offensive game plan isn't working. Dumba*s
Quote:
Nuggets suck!
They will never play solid defense for the whole game.
LK all the way in the paint and his man on a 3pt line and LK leaves him WIDE OPEN!
just wow!
Quote:
I guess if you cant beat them, then beat them down huh. Sorry but saying this all fixed is a poor excuse when your team is very talented and just isnt playing well. I enjoyed watching Denver this year, but theydont play defence and each player is out on their own. So please stop saying Stern fixed it. Denver beat themslefs out this series. Your coach has been on bench no emotion. If this team worked together Lakers werent be up 3-0.
Quote:
Pff....this is just pathetic and embarrassing, losing by 15+ at home....Sweep.
Quote:
I been gave up on this team its ridiculous. **** the Nuggets.
Quote:
There is nothing with this team. It's seems like the players are shoved on the court right off the streets with no direction. Everyone on the team plays the same stupid way like they have no clue.

the nuggets have a lot of talent, but have no chemistry(or defense)
if they traded Kleiza for Ron Artest(almost happened) they would have been a much better defensive team
I feel bad for melo bcuz i admire his game, but he makes stupid mistakes all the time
oh well... I told you guys we were gonna sweep them!!! GO LAKERS!!!! |

I don't think that AI, Melo, Ron Ron, and K-Mart on the same team is ever a good thing (and I don't mean a good thing as in winning more games) |

| I too predicted a sweep. 1 more game and we'll see. It looked like the Nuggets gave up in game 3. Lets see if they show up for game 4. |

Yeah Today comments

No thanks to the Lakers, either, suggested coach Phil Jackson.
“I thought our defense packed it in on them, but they missed some easy shots,” Jackson said. “I told the team at halftime, ‘They’re not going to shoot like this for the whole game. They missed some close shots, some shots they usually make. We’ll have to play better defense in the second half.’
“But they never showed up. They never got it going.”
Iverson sat out all but 1:11 of the fourth quarter, when Nuggets coach George Karl emptied his bench, prompting Anthony to accuse the team of quitting.
“In a game like tonight, on our home court, us giving up as a whole is uncalled for,” Anthony fumed. “Yeah. We quit. Everybody. From the coaches to the players, we quit. And I said it.
“I’m not blaming anyone. I’m not pointing the fingers at nobody. I didn’t play worth a (expletive) tonight, and I can accept that. But as a competitor, there’s no way that I should lay down and quit and lay down on my team like we did tonight.”
Anthony said the Nuggets surrendered in the third quarter, although Karl didn’t empty his bench until the fourth quarter.
“You could just sense it,” Anthony said. “I’m saying ‘we,’ because I’m part of this, too. I’m saying I quit. We all just gave up.”
At least one teammate concurred.
“That’s the way it seemed,” Kenyon Martin said. “Everybody came out of the game. A.I. came out, and he leads the league in minutes. It’s frustrating.”
“Well, I don’t think I quit,” Karl retorted. “… In the fourth quarter, I tried to find some answers. … I don’t think that’s a fair, I think ‘Melo’s emotional right now, he’s frustrated right now, as we all are.” |

| I don't know if u guys feel the same but I like to watch games that are close...I am sick of seein the Lakers dominate this team...it is gettin boring. We need some toughness so the Lakers can get use to it. So when they play in the next series they will take it more seriously. If u play against a weak level team it will not help u in the next serious and u will not step up ur game. Thats just my opnion. |

| I have really mixed felling about that, because I love seeing the Lakers dominate. But I did doze off during the fourth quarter. It feels like this one is over. The Suns team that came back from 3-1 down was a better team than Denver is now, and the Lakers misfired mentally during that series. |

I say great that this series is a walk-over so far. We are using these games to get our offensive sets down pat. We are using these games to start and play some defense again. We are not tiring ourselves out. It is obvious that we will meet stiffer competition, but as far as I am concerned the farther on down the line it is, the better! After all, it is not like the Laker team can wave a magic wand and "poof" the Denver team starts playing better. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! |
