I guess that's a great way to let your team know you wanna compete right??
He's waived his white flag already |

| Him being honest about what his team wanted doesn't mean he's waving the white flag. It's a breath of fresh air to hear honesty instead of the whole "It doesn't matter who we face" line that's so common in sports. |

| Well I would think the same as Karl.. The Lakers are just too good for the Nuggets and Denver could have had a chance to beat the "inexperienced" team. The reason I'm quoting that word? Look at Paul's stats in Game 1 against the Mavs. |

| Game 1 of the NBA playoffs. New Orleans Hornets vs. the Dallas Mavericks. This took place on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Paul scored 35 points and had 10 assists. More details? |

I get what you're saying man. So Karl is pretty much underestimating the Hornets, even though it's obvious that CP3 (backed by his big numbers in Game 1) and his squad can torch the Nuggets easily.
I'm guessing that Karl is just picking his own poison. He preferred the Hornets because he knew that it might not be as painful as getting slaughtered by the Lakers. |

| Karl is just admitting the truth. Nobody can beat us in a 7 game series. If we lose one game we can change our lie up dramatically the next game and confuse the other team. Ahh, the joy of having such a deep team. |
