| "God only knows" used in the original context is only an expression. If someone wishes to take it out of context and construe its' use to be other than its' original intent then that is their problem. No declaration of affermation of faith, or lack of faith is requested nor required. If for reasons of so-called political correctness someone wishes to browbeat others so that they can no longer come on to a site such as this without having to go through an internal examination and parse everything they say if someone may or may not take offense (because they want to in this case), then that is a shame. It would seem that to observe the sensibilities of one or a few, even with commonly used expressions, one must proofread everything for strict political correctness... No one is attempting to proselitize, convert, or convince anyone of anything on this site as far as I am concerned. I say we should all respect one another, and lighten up when it is clear there is no intention to offend! |

Yup. I believe there is no God and I'm tired of people who believe in him pushing their beliefs on to others. They act as if I'm going against their beliefs on purpose when in reality they went against mine first. But I don't want this to go any further than it has. Lets get back on subject. Bynum is injured and I hope he comes back to us by the WCF 100%. Go Lakers.
You know what kid
u just contradicted urself!
and ur a hipocrit

| And we owe it to more than the players and coaches. As far as I'm concerned, this year's MVP (Most Valuable Person) is Mitch Kupchak. |

| Does anyone know if the NBA has posted a schedule of when awards will be given out? They just did Most Improved. I'm interested in Executive of the year and MVP the most. |

| Expect the MVP to named in Game 1 or 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, unless Chris Paul won it, then it could be announced at the next Mavs/Hornets. |

what about coach of the year? i remember the exec and coach awards were released simultaneously or something. or at least really close to each other.
i think COTY is going to doc rivers. i don't personally agree, but that seems to be the consensus around the league. |

Actually I thought I read that Byron Scott had the inside track to win it...either way, Phil won't get it, which is a crime in itself. |

Wow, what happened to this thread? It is a sad day when the mere mention of God sturs up so much controversy. I guess these same people are offended because our coins still say "In God we trust". I believe in God but I am in no way imposing my beliefs on others. Everyone is free to believe whatever they choose.
Back to the topic of the thread. More evidence that Bynum is getting better. He was seen and photographed partying at a frat party last Thursday night at UCLA and was even out on the dance floor looking pretty smooth. |

I know there have been millions of Bynum updates from plenty of sources, but this one really struck me. I was just watching ESPNEWS and they had an interview with John Ireland (KCAL sideline Laker interviewer). He was asked about Bynum's current status, and he said "It's my personal opinion, from everything I've picked up behind the scenes, that Bynum is done for the season."
Considering the source, I would say Bynum is probably done. |

| I wasn't counting on him coming back. A long injury would require a long time getting back into the game, adjusting to the lineup, adjusting to minutes. It would be too much for him. |
