Hey guys I've added a reputation system to the forums. You'll notice it as these gold star(s) right above your online status. Basically it's used to give props to others who you think have made a good post. A big star(s) means lots of reputation- you can mouse over the gold star(s) to see the exact rep score. To give some one a rep point you simply click on the plus/minus icon to the right of the stars. Note that the rep point you give out will be subtracted from your total. You can earn rep by posting (25 posts = 1 point) and simply by longevity (1 point for every 60 days).

Nope- the other star system is still there and is based purely on # of posts. I think you're the only one with 5-stars and the only one with that big a** gold star for reputation  . |

now from here after i will be much more conservative with my stars..

Dave, I just clicked the plus sign next to the two stars under your latest post and it said: Wrong check code! Do not try to fool Reputation System. One more try and your reputation will be -500!
Also when i click "smiles" it says hackingsttempt1 |

| What in the world- I'll look into those problems- thanks Harry. I had fixed that "hackingattempt1" error in the past but after upgrading the forum it overwrote my fix. |

can you add more stars after 2500 posts? like hall of famer, or G.O.A.T. or verteran or jersey in the rafters....just a suggestion. cuz maybe thats why lakers fan ryan doesnt post much. he's already maxed out on stars. thanks either way. |
