With Trev injured and out for 8 weeks. Lakers would want a defensive specialist. We have to look at a SF to take his place. Option 1, sign Ruben Patterson. Or option 2, sign the D-Fenders' Stephane Lasme. I would like to see Stephane get his shot. He's a tweener. Meaning he's a 6'7 215 lbs dude who plays PF and SF. Here's Stephane's stats for the 15 past games.
G1: 14 mins, 3 pts, 2 reb, 0 blk, 0-3 FG, 3-4 FT
G2: 12 mins, 6 pts, 1 reb, 0 blk, 3-6 FG, 0-0 FT
G3: 33 mins, 7 pts, 10 reb, 2 blk, 2-6 FG, 3-5 FT
G4: 11 mins, 6 pts, 1 reb, 0 blk, 3-3 FG, 0-0 FT
G5: 31 mins, 6 pts, 6 reb, 6 blk, 3-7 FG, 0-0 FT
G6: 36 mins, 12 pts, 10 reb, 8 blk, 5-9 FG, 2-2 FT
G7: 22 mins, 16 pts, 15 reb, 5 blk, 7-9 FG, 2-4 FT
G8: 28 mins, 13 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk, 2-4 FG, 9-10 FT
G9: 13 mins, 3 pts, 2 reb, 0 blk, 1-2 FG, 1-2 FT
G10: 33 mins, 16 pts, 11 reb, 4 blk, 6-12 FG, 4-6 FT
G11: 29 mins, 11 pts, 7 reb, 0 blk, 3-6 FG, 5-6 FT
G12: 29 mins, 13 pts, 5 reb, 4 blk, 6-7 FG, 1-2 FT
G13: 29 mins, 17 pts, 6 reb, 4 blk, 8-13 FG, 1-2 FT
G14: 30 mins, 11 pts, 11 reb, 0 blk, 1-4 FG, 9-10 FT
G15: 30 mins, 20 pts, 6 reb, 2 blk, 8-13 FG, 4-4 FT
---Averages: 25.3 mins, 10.7 pts, 6.7 reb, 2.5 blk, 56% FG, 77% FT |

| Stephane Lasme should get a shot first...sign him to a 10-day contract and see if he can do anything...Ruben Patterson has a history & the Lakers might not want him...maybe Lasme is a diamond in the rough... |

Quote:
Jason M. Williams/RealGM - With the NBA season halfway in the books, the standings are starting to settle and teams are beginning to pinpoint the minor tweaks that they will need to make for a playoff push. The trade deadline will come and go on February 22, 2008, and after that there will be many teams who failed to pull the trigger to acquire the talent they need to give them an added advantage. This is where teams will begin to use the NBDL as a source for untapped talent.
These young stars are currently competing night in and night out to fulfill their dreams of reaching the NBA. Since they play fewer games in the Development League and end their season earlier, they will likely be fully charged to handle the rigors of the NBA's grueling postseason. It was our job to analyze piles of NBDL game-tape and identify ten glaring NBDL names to keep an eye on when teams begin to call upon the D-League for help.
Here are the ten most exciting players we here at RealGM hope to see make an extended appearance on the big stage this season:
2. Stephane Lasme – L.A. D-Fenders
Lasme was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the forty-sixth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. He has played only one game for the Warriors this season, but has been given ample time to display his skills for the L.A. D-Fenders. He is currently helping the team with 10.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and is leading the NBDL with 2.71 blocks per game. His tenacity on the defensive side will be a welcomed addition to the Warriors come stretch time.

| Mbenga is only signed to a 10 day contract. We should look into Sean Banks or Stephen Lasme. I'd even consider former Laker Devin Green |
