| It's tough to see so many people turn on the Lakers after every loss and then praise them after every win. I believe we have the best team when we are healthy. I cant think of any team that would match us. |

Agreed. With a full squad - I don't see anyone beating us. Everyone needs to look at all the positives. Did anyone think we would have been on top of the West during training camp? Did anyone think we would have Pau Gasol on our team for such a lop-sided trade? Or that we would have Ariza for Cook and Evans?
This is a fantastic season and I think I am in the same boat that after suffering some pretty bad seasons for the past three years we all want to get back to that top spot and come to a parade at the end of the season, but things are fantastic. Does anyone here think that we wouldn't of beaten Houston or the Hornets if we had Pau and of course if also we had Andrew and Ariza? Come on. How many more rebounds, inside easy hoops and blocks would we have? This is all waiting around the corner.
When we get all our guys healthy and after a week worth of games to get use to playing with one another - it will get really fun to be a basketball fan, especially a Laker fan.
Think about this. The Spurs, yes the mighty Spurs, have lost three in a row and are currently in 6th place. Hello. And they have everyone healthy. Perspective anyone? Anyone?
The Jazz just lost to the Nets! New Orleans got pounded by Detroit. The Suns are on a nice streak after a horrible stretch of games.
The Rockets are on this incredible magical mystery tour of wins - but does anyone think this will continue when they face the top teams with all their players back. Does anyone here not want to face the Rockets in a playoff series with Pau and Andrew back? Can someone say sweep for us.
I really hope the Rockets are the best the West has to offer come the playoffs because we will be in the finals for sure.
So everyone relax and enjoy the ride - the Lakers will be fine and if injuries do prevent us from going all the way this year - you can be sure we will even have a nicer season next year when we go through training camp with a full and healthy squad. I think the Lakers can take the finals this year. But next year we might put up Boston type of numbers in wins. The present and future looks really bright. So cheer up Laker fans. |

You are right. We all cheered for them when we had little hope the last three seasons and still almost beat the Suns two seasons ago. And I'm old enough to remember the difficult 90's when we had Vlade and Nick Van Exel, Campbell and all the rest and we still loved and cheered for them.
Now, we are coming back to the golden era for the Lakers while some teams are, just because of age, going down - like the Suns and Spurs. And some teams that will be great like the Trailblazers have a lot of growing pains to go through before they can challenge for a title.
We are in prime position for years to come with our young guys going through the fire of the past three seasons of heartache and are now starting to get into that prime mode, with some still too young to be in prime mode.
The next five years is Lakers time! |

A real Laker fan will stick with his team when it is up or down.We are down alittle but we are not out.Just wait until the playoffs start and when we are healthy everyone in the West know the championship goes to us.They will never say it but they all know we are the team to beat.I agree with everything you said. You sound like a true laker fan. |

| I swear, the NBA season not only is a grind for the NBA players, but also for the NBA fans...I don't know about anybody else, but this season seems like it's been going on for a very long time now...maybe it's because this season started right after the Lakers were officially eliminated from the playoffs by the Suns and Kobe said, "Do something and do it now"... |

| im thinking the same thing, as long as we will be able to get into the playoffs and have everyone back by then, thats gonna be good. it now doesnt matter what our record is gonna be, as long as we're in the playoffs. when everyone is back, everyone else better watch out |

Sorry lknight! I loved those squads too, but they would be heartbreakers every year. But they kept it exciting - a lot of talent - and poor Chick Hearn suffered with some of the guys like Nick. Chick had his back and always said nice things about him even when he was acting crazy.
I use to LOVE Ceballos' game!!! He was such a great offensive rebounder for his size and he would be so sneaky around the basket! Then he went crazy and started not to show up to games. What happened to Cedric?
And I remember Campbell - ah Campbell - I thought he would be the next great power forward/center. He had the size and quickness - nice moves - a good hook shot, but never got it all together. He never took his game to an ultra high level - but a solid player. Some nights he would just leave you thinking this guy is incredible and then others he just didn't show up.
Eddie - of course - that was a delight and a great hope when he came. He soon had the fans chanting EDDIE! EDDIE! Yea - that takes me back. |

I am a hardcore Laker fan, but when I am watching the game, I will scream at them say a few choice words when they make bone head errors. WHY! because I know they are better then that.
I will always be a fan, but I am a poor loser. I want to win all the time (PERIOD) |

| I dont think anyones falling off, just venting. I can't believe the ridiculous bad luck we have had with the injuries. I mean at some point you have to ask when will enough be enough. And even past that point, you know when its really rolling bad when you get news of a new injury and you dont even get mad or react anymore but rather all you say to yourself is "figures". |
