| Im having mixed thoughts on what to do with him. I say we keep him til the end of the season, see wat he can do with not worrying about the PF position, and if its still not workin out, trade him... |

| I say keep him til the end of the season. I really believe he can help us now. He is a good third option...he will be a great 4th option! |

| Dude, what do you mean trade Odom? He's an excellent passer f you haven't noticed, along with Walton, him & Walton are pretty much the only 2 great passers on the team besides KB24 & Farmar, what he does (3rd and fantastic as a 4th scoring option, 9+ rpg, 2+ ast, and many other things like chemistry and a heart for the game! I don't care whatever you guys say about him, just don't talk about trading him again guys, he's great, just not an All-Star but still! |

| Her's an idea! How about leaving Odom alone and letting him stay on the squad and play his game. |

KEEP ODOM
he might not be a great scorer, but he is a good all around player!! This guy is just a Triple Double waiting to happen!!! He is a great rebounder, great passer and also a very decent defender!!!!
Yesterday he had 12 - 10 and 8 ast and this season he had a lot of games where he almost got a Triple Double!!! |

Ughh, no more trades dammit! Gasol was our final piece to the championship puzzle, so I don't see the point of making anymore trades, major ones or not.
We just need to sign another big, preferably a combo forward (SF/PF), to hold us down before Ariza and Bynum come back. |

| Guys does anyone think that Artest now would want to come to Lakers and win a championship, and maybe we can trade him for Odom? |

As much as I dislike Odom's lack of passion and consistency, I would hope the Lakers keep him for now and see how it works out for them. We all know Odom's flaws but things may change for him. I've been wanting to see this change for quite some time now and I'm still waiting and still hoping. This leads me to believe that just how most Lakers fans are waiting for Lamar to become an all star, many GM's might feel the same way. This helps Lamar keep his value somewhat because he does have the talent to become an all star. So for now, I say they keep him unless the Lakers come across a great trade scenario that cannot be passed.
I heard Lamar was going to be involved in the recent trade. Supposedly this information came from the Grizzlies. If true, I hope Lamar did not read about it. I don't think Lamar has what it takes to let that go without it affecting him. |

Is this a fair trade for both sides?
laker's get Bell a defense oriented guy and who can also hit the open three.
also in Marion get a guy who can grab 10 boards a game at the SF spot and right now he can play PF until we get bynum back.
Suns get Odom a tall forward who can pass, and clear the rebounds as the team runs up and be able to be the facilitator when nash is not on the court. also get luke walton who could start at the 3 spot and give them another high IQ man on the floor to go alone with nash. Mihm is more of a toss in the trade to make it work money wise but if he gets healthy he may be able to help them in the playoffs to come off the bench to improve the guy they have now (skinner).
Let me know what you guys think about it: if its fair and if you would pull the trigger on the trade or not?

| I completely agree with you. Keep LO and see where he goes the rest of the season as the 3rd option and when Bynum returns, probably the fourth. He will have WAY less pressure than he had after Bynum's injury. |
