| I don't think he can. He's a good complementary piece, but our acquisition of Artest makes us much better on paper than what Boston or San Antonio can pull off with 'Sheed. |

| I think there is no favorite until the season starts and we see how all the teams mesh with their new additions. |

| I think if Sheed signs with the Spurs, we'd have a good scuffle with them but will ultimately finish on top. This is of course, assuming Duncan has some gas in the tank and Ginobili is healthy. I'm not so sure what will happen if he signs with Boston, part of me tells me they can be amazing but because their 3 stars are fairly old already, it can be a toss up. |

naw. Lakers will be the favs even though Rasheed goes to one of those team , but if we sign Odom or we sign someone else like a Kleiza or Joe Smith.
Pierce has to face Artest now , no easy baskets in the lane and it will be hard for him and will have a healthy Andrew Bynum. Artest will take the load off Kobe , Because hes a great scorer and probably be a third option in offense and Kobe doesnt have to guard the the player on the opposing team.
Top Teams In The NBA Right Now Coming In To This Season.
1 . Los Angeles Lakers
2. **San Antonio Spurs / Boston Celtics**
3. **Who ever gets Rasheed will be 2nd and the other team will be 3rd best in the NBA
4. Orlando Magic - I have a gut feeling that Dwight worked really hard in his post up game and worked on his free throws
5. Denver Nuggets - there like 2 slight hairs better then Cleveland because they have more fire Power.
6. Cleveland Cavaliers - Shaq and Lebron = Ring, Wont happen Shaq is 37 i think and hes not gonna improve on guarding pick and rolls. And Cleveland needs a true All-Star Power Foward like a Chris Bosh which i dont see them getting cause Bosh will stay in Toronto or play with Wade in Miami. |

| Rasheed doesn't have that "put a team over the top" game anymore. |

| The one thing that you guys are overlooking is that Sheed would be expected to play defense, which he does well and just knock down the open jump shot when given the opportunity, which is another thing he does well. Sheed would be an excellent addition to any team. Will he dominate in the post like he did in Portland? No, but as a role player to get a team over the top would be idea. The Pistons matched up with our bigs well because Sheed and Kwame defended our bigs really well because of their size, strength and manueverability. |

| Depends what else the Lakers do I think. If they are clever and sign GRANT HILL lol. Then no worries (do I sound like a broken record yet?) |

Personally, I think that the Lepers attempt to obtain this player is for insurance. I do not expect Garnett to get through next year without a recurrence of his knee problems.
I am watching what happens with the Lepers this summer, almost as much as I am following the Lakers off-season. If you think that we have problems, v. Odom/Ariza/Artest, etc., then you should take heart. The Cesspool City mafiosi have a whole lot more problems than we do. They have virtually zero bench. They might not be able to retain Davis. They have walking wounded on the roster that they can't move. They just threw one of their best soldiers, Leon Powe, to the dogs showing the lie to one and all, including their own players, of the much touted "Ubuntu", and though they may wind up retaining Rondo, he is a disgruntled player now. Allen feels like he is living on borrowed time and just waiting for Ainge to pull the rug out from under him in some trade to try and shore up the bench. These guys are really swimming in an ocean of whale crap!
Obtaining an old, non-enthusiastic playoff quitter like Rasheed Wallace will not rectify all of the problems of this team. |

| Probably to save too much wear and tear on Garnett through the year. An able bodied sub. Tendonitis, if that's what it really is, is from overuse. Doesn't matter. One more clever move and the Lakers have this thing locked. |

No way. Old man Wallace currently uses a wheelchair to get up and down the court and shows more concern over biscuits and gravy night then he does taking over games with his offensive skill set.
He's been done ever since Stern put a muzzle over his mouth after Detroit lost to the Cavs in 07. |

| first of all sheed plays the same position as duncan and garnett right? ok so duncan is really a center but he wants to pretend he's a pf. sheed can play center at times but not consistently. more than likely he would be comin off the bench averagin 12-14pts. he's not a game changer unless he comes to the lakers =) i heard broussard from espn say that if la didnt sign odom they would offer sheed a deal |

Wallace to Boston=insurance move, as someone said before, to unload KG some PT. Wallace could be a really good player in the 15-20 minutes range.
Wallace to Spurs...and what about Gooden?. He's restricted, if i'm not wrong, cheaper than Wallace, younger than Wallace (Spurs looks soooo old), knows the Pop's system...i don´t see why to bring him to San Antonio.
And i don´t want him at LA. I don´t see him being the backup guy for Pau. If Artest sounded like a weird move in terms of chemistry, i can´t imagine what we'll have with Wallace also here...i bet PJ never would end the next season...alive |

| Maybe about 5 years ago he could have been the difference. Now? Well he's a shell of the player he once was and he seems adament that he never commits a foul and is willing to get a technical to argue that. If Boston is lucky he'll make it halfway through the season without being suspended due to an excess of technical fouls. |
