| Ok its just the first Quarter and the ABC announcers are staying all this crap about Dwayne Wade is so freaking good. BLAH BLAH BLAH. they said his presents on the court give guys better looks at the basket. my freaking a** Kobe has been doing this all year now he is getting everyone involved what the hell is this wade this and wade that is all i hear...and the funny thing is umm i see Kobe do everything that he is doing all year long...and do we hear a thing from them umm i don't think so. I bet deep down in Kobe's big heart he is extremely pissed off at the press by him not getting the respect...he has broken so many records in the league faster than anyone...and he doesn't get any credit. Especially last year with his 81 point game...he was just a ball hog the whole game....no i don't think so ....no one was making a shot that game....and guess who needed to take over KOBE DID! he didn't hog the ball whats the use to pass to team mates when they aren't gonna make a shot. Oh and by the way with the Christmas day game Wade didn't guard Kobe once. I noticed that he tried to stay away from as much as possible. If he is sooo freaking "good" why the hell didn't he guard Kobe to prove he is a good defender. because he knew he was gonna get his a** haded to him on a dinner plate.... WADE IS A *****! and he sucks up to the freaking refs to give him a foul every time he goes down to bail him out. Tobe can do it all the way without a foul and still get his points. I hate Wade and The Press with a PASSION. lol sorry just wanted to let you guys know what i thought |

| No doubt about the fact that the press and the refs kiss Wade's a** but I have to admit, even though he isn't better than Kobe which was confirmed the last game they played together in the 4th and OT, he still is really good. Did you guys see that flip shot backwards he had just recently? |

Dwyane Wade is 6'2" and Kobe Bryant is 6'7". That means Kobe is 5 inches taller then Dwyane. Also the average persons arm span grows 1 inch per every inch a person grows. That would mean that Kobe is also 5 inches longer then Dwyane. Also when you are taller you usually wear a larger shoe. So when Kobe is on his toes and Dwyane is on his toes Kobe is going to be even taller again. That is why Dwyane does not guard Kobe. |

it is no one fault that Dwade is under size...
barkeley was 6'5 and did you hear any excuse from him?
by the way, kannoni, i agree with you totally,
kobe been doing this thing since his THIRD YEAR!!!!
it was the guy by the name of shaq that was a cry baby during those great years! |

| Im just saying that there is no need for him to guard Kobe when they can have a bigger guy on Kobe. It would just be a waste of energy for Dwyane. Just like Kobe doesent guard Dwyane all game because it would be a waste of energy for Kobe |

| Well last time i looked wade is a Shooting guard and Williams is the point for miami so what are they gonna do have have Williams guard Walton so wade can have his way of not guarding Kobe. Oh well just forget about it the game is over wade is a *****...they consider him one of the best defenders in the league well why don't you have him the greatest player in the league, but he isnt gonna do that is he....he would much rather guard smush where he can tear him up all night like he did, and when kobe did guard wade he just got a pick and roll and then got kwame on him where he just pulls up what a ***** be a man and drive the ball 1 on 1 with out your bribed refs to call everything. so wade can kiss kobe's a** just like he does with the refs next time they play when kobe tears you up wade. and wade got more comments about him in his rookie year i bet more than kobe did his whole career. oh well lets just get about the good stuff about our lakers not talking about wade and crap he isnt worth our time on here making fun of him...im done GO LAKERS better win against Golden State just wish Odom and Brown were back we really need them! |

you are new here and you do not know,
but S18 is actually a miami fan and a kobe hater.
he doesn't care jack about the lakers and i donno why he is still ehre.....
and back to our lakers...
i donno what up with luke man,
but our boy here is in his annual slump.
remember how he play earlier in the season where he is making threes like its practice?
man, donno if it is the new ball or what, but he sure isn't comfortable lately shooting the rock.. sigh!!!! |

| Actually Samstudio if you just watched the game Luke is comfortable shooting the ball. He shot it 2 times in the last 2 minutes. You dont do that when your scared. And ya you are right I do hate Kobe but I like the rest of the team besides Kobe and Radman. I love Bynum and he did great tonight and also Kwame and Lamar and Smush and Luke and Ronny. I dont like most of Miamis team. I like Dwyane Wade, Shaq, Posey, Zo, and Haslem |

| S18, how come you don't like Kobe? I just don't understand why some people dont like Kobe. After all he does and the way he can take over like NO OTHER, the way he can adjust to be a JUST AS EFFECTIVE A PLAYMAKER AS SCORER... I just get frustrated when people call Kobe a ball hog and make unture statements like "Kobe raped a girl" or this or that. First of all for all you haters, Kobe didn't rape a girl and its 2006, Kobe was somewhat a ball hog years ago. |

i would not call shooting 2/10 a very good night...
look at his last 5 games for crying out aloud!
i m not dogging on him at all, since i love luke and his game!
but compare to what he was doing earlier in the season where he was shooting consisitently over 50%, its a big difference, and i m just worry that he is in his annual slump... |

and if you do not like that.. check his last 10 games... he is aveaging 7-8 assist!!! oops...

| Harry the reason why I dont like Kobe is easy. My friends have been making Shaq shoes since Shaq came to LA so obviously being able to meet Shaq through them made me a Shaq fan. Also I am really into players with high shooting percentages and Shaq is one of the highest percent shooters ever in the NBA. Kobe did not shoot a good percentage until this year. This year Kobe is shooting a great percentage and I am liking that much more about Kobe. Also I dont like Kobe because he is very cocky although he is acting much more mature during interviews this year. Also Kobe was a big ball hog until this season. Being a ball hog doesent even bother me much but I knew Kobe had so much potential and skill that I knew he was able to pass better then he showed. And the main reason why I hate Kobe is because he did not get a long with Shaq and now Shaq is not on the team and Shaq is my favorite player of all time. Shaq, MJ, MJ, Bird, Michael Ray, and Cedric Bozeman. The reason I like Dwyane Wade is because he shoots a high percentage, plays with Shaq so I watch his games, and my uncles college roommate is the play by play anouncer or something for the Heat and he said Dwyane is really nice. I got my info that he is 6'2" by the play by play anouncer guy and Cedric. Also he doesent really look 6'4". The reason why he lists himself at 6'4" is so when he came into the league he would get more hype because height is important in basketball. Eventually in his career he might end up putting 6'2" because once you get the hype you look like your better when you are shorter. Kobe did the same thing. Kobe started his career at 6'7" and now lists himself at 6'6". And many players in the NBA change there heights so they look better. Its like if on max preps I put myself at 7'0" there would be so many scouts coming to watch me play just because of my height. Thats why people change there heights. And the last reason I dont like Kobe is because he changed his number. I know Shaq changed his number also but Shaqs original number was 32 so when he came to LA he was not able to wear that # because Magics number is retired and now that hes in Miami he is back with his number 32. But Kobes change was different Kobe is #8 and always will be he is not #24. The only reason he did that is for Jersey sales. He hadent won the Jersey Sales in 2 years and now he is winning it because his Jersey number changed. All the junk about because it reminds me of working 24 hours a day thats fake. At least thats my opinion. I dont think Kobe raped the girl either. Lots of NBA players have cheated like that. Kobe was just unlucky this time and that girl wanted money and fame and its easy to get that when you say Kobe Bryant the Star Player on the Los Angeles Lakers raped you. Well those are all my reasons why I dont like Kobe and like Dwyane Wade and Shaq. If I dident answer anything tell me. |

I think Kobe is having a great season and I am very happy about that. He is doing everything to how I want him to besides his turnover problem. Now with the Heat. Dwyane cant win. Same thing as Kobe. Dwyane has no Shaq on his team right now and Dwyane doesent know how to win without that. Kobe had that a couple years ago right after Shaq left. But that just shows that Shaq is valuable even though his stats dont show it. |

I've been here since June well i just read the rumors and forum stuff i wanna write. but now im starting to write more....but i watch this whole fight with S18 unfold....he is such a child he just HAS to be right and if not he throws a big fit and i can still see that he does. so what if shaq is the most dominant player in the league....but HE ISNT NOW!!!!!!!!!!! he has only played 7 games of the season haveing way too much surgerys its over for him his fat is taking over his body and his body cant take it anymore...with all of these surgerys shaq listen to your body it cant take it anymore RETIRE!!!!! |

| S18, I beleive Kobe changed his number because like he said himself: "Its the second chapter of my career." This sounds much more reasonable than to do it for sales. Kobe already has enough sales. Second, come on man, HOW do you call Kobe cocky? Every player in the NBA has moments where they get all heated up and try to get the croud into it. Every time LBJ makes a good block, he makes this gesture. Most people in the NBA hit 3 in a row and start saying things. Its all emotion. Thats not constructive critisicsm and neither is the ball hog stuff. Kobe took a bunch of shots last season because his team had stretches of time where they couldn't score. He was a ball hog years ago with Shaq in the championship days when he used to make 1 on 1 plays by himself instead of trying to get the high precentage shot by givin it to Shaq in the paint. And finally, Kobe isn't such a high percentage player because before this season, his team used to always give him the ball with like 2 seconds to go and expect him to do something. Also, he has a wider game than Wade and MJordan because of his ability to shoot the 3 pointer better than those two. We all know Kobe can drive the ball in to the basket everytime and get fouled hard and go to the free throw line. You might remember a game vs. Dallas last season where he got slammed in the face by Josh Howard I believe in the air and no flagrant was called. Also, you might remember when Mike Miller fouled Kobe very hard and no flagrant was called. Kobe is the last person the Lakers need with an injury. |

| I like Lebron because I liked him in Highschool but I think hes as cocky as Kobe and I hate that about Lebron. Also to Kannoni Shaq is still dominating the NBA he doesent need to retire. He sure isent what he was in 2000 or maybe even last year but look at Miami with him last year and now without him. Its just him being in the game will make difference. He is so big that you have to put 2 guys or its just like nobody is there. That is why he can still play. Also to Kannoni whats your point? Why cant you just talk like Harry. Say whatever you want to me I wont care if you say it nicely. If you just say it to rag on me its annoying. The only reason I post in this place still is because I love the Lakers. | umm i stayed out of this "chat," but i was looking over it and someone was talking about luke's slump that he is in right now. i think the reason is because there is no lamar odom. when odom went down luke had to play above his skill to try and fill in the gap for odom. i think once odom comes back lukes numbers will improve because he wont have to do as much as far as facilitating and that sort. lamar makes it easier for everyone because he attracts attention on the court. |

Your absolutely right double R. He actually mentioned that in an interview about how losing odom hurt his game tremendously. I think Odom will be so much more appreciated when he comes back. I think alot of people (myself included) took him and what he brings to the game for granted.
I cant wait for his return!!
